Alexandrites

Alexandrite is known for colour change under different lighting. Review each stone’s own images, treatment details and laboratory information where available.

What to look for

Ask to see the same stone in daylight and warm indoor light. The strength and quality of colour change should be judged from that stone, not a category photo.

How to compare prices

Compare the total price, dimensions and quality of each stone alongside its carat weight. Colour, cut, clarity, treatment and available documentation all matter; price per carat alone does not show whether two stones are comparable.

Will every stone show the same colour change?

No. Colour change varies from stone to stone and with lighting; review its own images and specifications.
